Who watches this second rate hack? You’re forgetting Bill Clinton here sethy. or are you on your knees in front of him? Do you think anybody listens to your bullshit? The real truth is they couldn’t by Trump is a politician so they’re trying to destroy them good luck you little worm
BELIEVE THIS.... If no one with a bigger name than Weinsteins gets exposed, then the fix is in. As bad as people think this is, it's just the tip of the iceberg, and I promise you that all these people who came forward will over time become Hollywood has Beens! These animals protect each other. And revenge will be slowly exacted on 99% of the people who spoke out. Not only will it be revenge but they will be eliminating people who have the courage to come forward. To throw us off, They are going to crucify weinstein since they need to throw someone to the dogs right now to make it look like things have been cleaned up. Even if evidence came out completely vindicating him outright, they would still slaughter him. Someone needs to be the face of this. Their perception of the damage control fallout is as follows..."people think Weinstein represents the highest level of Hollywood power, therefore common people won't think that the most powerful amongst us are never prosecuted"... Another plus for them is that Weinstein is about as Jewish sounding as any Jewish name, so, they can also say " what do you mean Jews run Hollywood and can do whatever they want? look what happened to Weinstein! Weinstein might have been rich and powerful but he was not upper echelon level as far as Hollywood elite go. He was in the mid range. I would even say mid- low range of the elite. Just look up what he was worth and what his companies are worth and it's peanuts compared to the big boys! I'm willing to bet heavily that we won't hear about anyone concerning the Disney company.(look up disneys worth). At this point in time I rank Disney equal in power to the U.S. Government. Maybe stronger. People have a natural distrust of government, while Disney comes off as sweet and wholesome, while poisoning young minds. (Sounds kinda like what these perverts do doesn't it?) And imagine if anything came out about the supposed "family" company! Hell no, won't happen to any of the true elites. It's so obvious, it's pretty much known and exposed that everyone knew what was going on and that Weinstein was living in next level creep mode for a looong time but no one said anything til now? Why? Because they protect themselves. Why isn't anyone asking the question:"ok, so everyone knew about Weinstein for years and said nothing. Ok, let's move forward, lesson learned. NOW, who else is out there that everyone knows about doing similar things?"...once again, won't happen but keep an eye on it and see what type of performance they orchestrate to transition out of this media cycle...there is big stuff on the way, trust me, they need something big to kill this noise. That's more scary to me. I will tell you how to spot the cover up too. Look for the next thing that completely unites Hollywood across the board. To shift focus For example, they might try and use a black race issue (like they have done endlessly)..however that has been going on for a few years now so I don't think that one is likely. I hate to say it but death is the one thing they can get everyone to sympathize with when needed. Unfortunately, to divert from the magnitude of the sex scandal it would have to be a lot of death. I hope not but I keep thinking of what that one guys said about "every action has an equal reaction"...OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
who let this happen our police=FBI-CIA and all the others turned a blind eye people on the take
And thus I clothe my naked villainy
With odd old ends stol'n out of holy writ;
And seem a saint, when most I play the devil.

You are such a liar Seth. I hope the Trump curse gets u next. U r such an idiot. Your rating going down the toilet, and Trump is going to flush u down.
You forgot your hero...William Jefferson Clinton...in all dat...Meth, I mean Seth...
Seth Myers you need to go back in the hole you came out of. You disgrace the american citizen!!!
I believe Meyer’s argument was correct in its analysis that men in power tend to blame other people for their mistakes and refuse to take responsibility for their actions when allegations against them rise up in media; however, I do believe his argument was a little scattered. Meyers didn’t address the specific reasons why this problem has been allowed to go on so long, or how men addressing their complicity in the system will change the system altogether. It’s important to understand that people like Trump and Weinstein, when given an excess of power, influence, and wealth, tend to abuse it. This makes them untouchable, in a way, because all their problems can be solved with money (i.e., paying settlements to keep sexual harassment and assault allegations quiet, or using their influence to threaten the victims’ careers if they speak up). When it turns out that their money and influence actually can’t erase the crimes they’ve committed, their automatic reaction is to naturally place the blame elsewhere. John Oliver makes a good point in his latest episode of Last Week Tonight, about how the media (specifically sources like Fox News) enable characters like Trump to continue to view themselves as blameless, because they repeat false information that he creates back to him through the screen, legitimizing Trump’s argument.
Furthermore, it’s important to note that from a political standpoint, this abuse of power has become a bipartisan issue; with the sexual assault and harassment allegations against both Trump and Weinstein, bringing politics into a situation of safety in the workplace has divided the country so that many believe sexual assault is not a real issue, or that the women who came forward with the allegations are lying. Supporters of Trump and Weinstein will excuse the behavior of both men, which in their minds, further excuses them from blame, because the public will back them up. This obviously has been true for Trump more than Weinstein, who lost his company and much of his influence when the allegations arose. Trump, however, has been allowed to get away with his harassment and assault, and continued to have the support of much of the Republican party, and Fox News, which as an influencing information outlet, repeats what Trump wants to hear back to him, and reinforces that everything that’s happening politically continues to not be his fault, even though he is the leader of our country. It is also a lack of maturity on Trump and Weinstein’s parts that allows them to continue with their entitled mindset. To them, they are the victims in their situations, despite the power they wielded over their real victims, and despite the threats they leveled against their victims should they not comply with what Trump and Weinstein wanted out of them (in most cases, sexual favors.) It is the money and influence in the first place that allowed both men to have platforms upon which to abuse subordinates.
As a woman, it’s not hard for me to agree with Meyer’s assessment of systemic misogyny in our society, however, I wondered what it was like from the perspective of those who disagreed with him. The only reason that someone would actively support abuse is that they themselves are also an abuser, and demonstrate a similar pattern of behavior that they also believe is harmless, or that they are entitled to. Woody Allen was one of the first public defenders of Weinstein’s actions when the allegations broke, and he himself has had many sexual assault allegations against him in the past. (MacDonald). The people who support men like Trump and Weinstein are people who also retain that entitlement. It’s like Meyers says: a pattern of systemic misogyny that will only change when abusers state their complicity in letting it continue.
Sorry, but someone who can be brought down by a tweet by a third rate actress is not that powerful. Being powerful was not the reason Weinstein got away with what he did. It was because others went along with it
Can we stop referring to male entitlement. America had the chance to vote for a woman but DID NOT. Women outnumber men so can control outcomes in a Democracy. MEN SIMPLY WORK HARDER
Thank you Seth Meyers.
I think Harvey might have touched me too. It doesn't matter to seth tho. Harveys' been part of his brethren since his career started
Just a note to some: The term is "SYSTEMIC sexism" not "SYSTEMATIC sexism". Not an opinion on the piece, just FYI since there is a difference in the meaning.
Seth Myers is fine with Hillary-supporting sexists as long as he can conflate it with Trump - 100% guaranteed he abuses women along with the rest of hollyweird pedos
