I had a test drive this morning of Honda Civic Hatchback EX.I have noticed a small vibration when start the engine and stop the engine.Did you also feel the same? I have tested 3 cars and all were same.
Never knew that some civic 9th gen models came out with a 1 liter engine, here in North America we only get a 1.5 turbo and a 2.0, but one thing it looks like you guys dont get is honda sensing feature. Which has lane keep assist, brake collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane watch.
I have the 2017 hatchback and My infotainment screen works normal 🤷🏽♀️ and I love that it's 40 mpg. It saves more gas than my old Honda Fit!
pfft only 40 mpg out of the 1L engine. I get 42 MPG with my 1.5T.....when I'm nice. Still get 37 when I drive like an ass. This is also on S*** California Fuel
My guess about the lower-than-hoped for fuel economy is that the smaller 1.0 engine has to work harder than the larger engine.
For a cute baby, Good ! (^^)
Civic hatchback made in England. It's exported to North America and Japan and sells much.
wonderful vid. nice way to change it up. car is pretty ugly and all-charcoal interiors are no longer acceptable. but of course everything else is quite good and it wont let down. but i think we do now have take stand against sombre interiors and just say no
A 1litre has good performance?! Who’s this guy kidding
The only thing I don't like is that it's not a small (ish) car anymore. Over the previous 2 generations (so from gen 8, which I currently have) they seem to have really increased in size. Gen 7's look small when comparing them. Sadly this seems to be common in a lot of cars these days.
Great family but god what a ugly car !!!
holy shit that infotainment system is powered by a chip from 10 years ago?
I work at Honda in Swindon and i get a new honda every 6 months. Currently i have got a 1.0litre SR in white. Great car, i agree with you apart from the screen transitions are actually pretty decent and the fuel economy is pretty good too. (This may be that i go up the motorway everyday) i have got 15,000 miles on it and i have had it for 6 months. On Tuesday i am upgrading to a 1.5 sport in blue and omg i cant wait! Apparently it is rapid but fuel economy not too good :(
This is a great review. Long term reviews are the best because you get to experience the niggles, flaws get exposed that you may not see from a short test drive, and how it’s like to live with. Good job.
I bought one of these in September 2017 and I've had nothing but trouble faulty front sensors, they put 4 new sets in and 2 new grills and it still has not been fixed 2 new drives fitted as the last ones made fierce noise when the got wet and the new ones are the same, brakes are cracking they are fierce bad in traffic, the radio has a mind of its own a black screen shows up a lot rear light cluster are full of condensation the next day they are clear the day after the are full of condensation again and worst of all it broke down one day on the way home from the dealer went into limp mode final straw was it took 3 attempts to start it in my yard one morning finally it started but the smell of petrol was fierce. Honda gave me a lone of another Civic same spec and colour and guess what it has the same problems unbelievable! Waiting on a reply from Honda now as I want my money back this is my fourth Honda and last.
I have always thought that the HRV is Honda's small family car... the Civic seems to me to be more of a couple's car
I wish we had cars like this in the US. 40MPG in a brand new car with the trade off of performance. I love my fast cars of course, but why does a new family sedan need to go 0-60 in 7 seconds when you could have better fuel economy?
The crappy infotainment system is deal breaker.
Only 40mpg for a tiny little 1.0l engine? What’s the point? I average way more than that in my 2.0 TDI. I’ll stick with that all day.
Great Video. Looking forward to finding out what Car has been chosen to replace It
Does someone remember the Civics from the 80's and 90's? They were 3 doors only and barely bigger than a VW Polo. This one looks 10cm longer than a Golf.
